I like the skyline challenge idea. I think it will pretty hard to get a group shot without one or all of us being out of the shot at some point. Unless we trust our spouse/significant others with our cameras.

I don't think there will be a skyline where we're going for the Toronto GTG. :-/

See, ya should have meet downtown, so I coulda joined you!!!
Regardless, I know the Toronto GTG gang will kick serious butt!! Make the Americans cry!! ;)

We shall see. Do a search for Natural Bridge plus Kentucky. See your competition for a skyline challenge. I would give you a link, but that would be way too easy. LOL

Okay, okay, they're both cool places. You have the horses, TN has the delta blues (oh yeah, I'll take Memphis over Nashville).

Big difference!!!! But in order to keep peace with those who might have family in or live in TN, I will refrain from voicing my next thought.

Hey - my family is from the mountains in TN...oops, did I say that out loud.

My grandpa was from Ky (so I'm just jokin' around). But still, when I was growing up in Cincinnati, Covington and Newport were not the places to be (they are now!)

I know isn't it amazing how things change? Both very nice cities/towns across the river.

You can use self-timer and/or remote to shoot group photo. Is that too diffucult for the KY group? LOL

GO TEAM CHICAGO

Like my brother would say, oh you got jokes. LOL. I just wasn't wanting to drag my tripod out of the car. Monopod, yeah, but tripod.

You can't take your tripod out of the car to take a group photo!! How lame is that????? LOL

Still drinking my coffee.

I think I have everything ready though - backpack with normal and telephoto lenses, flash just in case, extra battery, extra card, money, camera(!), I thik I'll go grab a polarizer while I'm thinking of it.

Everyone, Let's admit it - Chicago GTG Rules.

- Everyone one right on time. Sharp 11:00 AM.
- 100% turn around as per the plan. No last minute drop outs.
- Man, what could I say about the weather - "The picture perfect day".
- GTG duration - 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM.
- Number of mile walked - more than 12 miles.
- Total number of good quality pictures - 450 (No that's not total number of pictures for whole group, that just number shots I took)
- Here are some of the highlights for different categories we shot through out the day - City Architectures, Tulips, Flowers, Group Photos, Major Attracations, Candids, Chicago shoreline, Special events, Photo Journalism, last but not the least NIGHT SHOTS....

Sorry, didn't mean to scare Toronto and KY group.
