When it comes to photography and cooking and racing sailboats and various other specific tasks, I'm a perfectionist. But my life, in general, is chaotic and disorganized. Even so, I make sure all the hangers face the same way; anything else is just stupid IMO.

One thing I've found as I get older (60 is coming in October) is that I have finally learned when to let go. Once I set something free, I no longer obssess over what it might have been. I no longer "look back", I no longer second-guess myself. I give whatever it is my best shot, and walk away smiling, even if only ruefully.

Life is short. Art is long.

I feel strangely attracted to the mangled fruit collection :-) I like them.

I think I'll post some info about when the next OCD group meeting will be held for you folks... ;)

Personally, my shirts are lucky to be on hangers and in the closet at the same time. :)

Oh man...the system I have to know which shirts are clean and which are not (since I don't throw them in a laundry basket) is all based on hangers and their placement. No OCD - just...well...ok a little OCD...but not much.

YES! I DID IT!

Framed the photo's and it looks freaking fantastic!

Right now, after the last photo framed, I have the perfect system. Why isn't such a system completely perfect after the very first photo?
