PS experiment with layers/actions

and this is what i came up with. I did a "midnight" plug in action then layer upon layer of level adjustments,BG eraser(just the flower) then selective color,replace color(BG)hue and sat shifts....yada, yada.

There was proably an easier way to get this same effect, but its one Im not familar with yet. This is really my first try at using layers and I know i need ALOT more pratice. I would love to know anything you feel would make this better,or just tell me what u like or dont about it. I need all the help i can get But without your help i will never learn. Thanks in advance to any that offer thier opinions or suggestions.

thanks pidge and Beetle...I will try a different photo and see how it comes out.

I seem to be going through a "blue" phase the last several months and just keep trying different approaches and "techniques" just to see what i come up with. I'll just keep plugging along..somday i will get it just right.

I think i would love to see some of the photos here that are done in the blue color cast as mne is. maybe that will help me get a better idea of what Im really trying to achieve myself.

Hmm, not the same colour cast as you, and not as much PSing, but my attempt at a blue duotone.
