I'm not done. I've just been submitting to too many challenges lately and the results have been shall I say frustrating especially when there are so few comments. I did get a great one just a little while go so I can't complain too much. Besides, it's probably just male pms or something. :P

Slowly creeping up. I don't think I have posted a shot that went up as far as this one has today. I was originally hoping for at least a 5.5, and now my sights are set on top 20 maybe. Is it possible that this score could garner that high? I am probably just getting my hopes up too high. Fingers crossed.

Nice score bazz, that gives Team Pentax 4 scores that are 6+ for Portrait with an average score of 6.3+. We are up against SMITE so that's a great start.

I thought I had a really good shot for this, this is my specialty I was sooo excited about this challenge. I had a lot of great shots to pick from maybe I picked the wrong one for this crowd. I am at a 5.4 and that is way low for this pic in my opinion. I usually am pretty agreeable with my scores but not this time. I thought I would see a lot more really interesting and creative stuff from the great photographers on this site.
WEll, I love the pic and so does the subject. Got some good comments from some good photographers so that scores high in my book. :)

from experience I've learned not to post my score.. I have dropped a full 2.0 after posting my score in a thread like this...
and my portrait is doing really badly, much worse than I thought it would.

my opinion is that it's only dangerous if your photo is recognizable as yours. In that case, if someone sees you have a low (or high) score, they could then adjust their vote depending on how they feel about the photo compared to what you said the score was (or they may just hate or love you).
i don't buy into "bad luck" or "karma" arguements though.

Titia I have found just after the last week that you only get comments when your pic is great or it sucks. Yours being a 4.9 almost 5 makes it middle of the road and most people don't comment on images in the middle because it is neither good nor bad just is.
You want more comments make the next pic better or worse!
