I put a great deal of thought into my shot, in fact, set up (prep) actually took 2 days. Clearly, I'm misunderstood.

I was lying on the cold wet ground for about a hour trying to get mine right. Took about 60 different angles. But, I'm very, very happy with my score. Still my PB. |

Hey guys,
I'm new here!
Just joined about 30 sec ago! LOL
It has to be said, some photos on here are amazing!
Pity I missed the footwear comp as here's the one I would have submitted

This being my 4th challenge I can't complain too much. Although following a ninth place (poor peanut butterhead) this leaves something to be desired. Haven't made the transition yet from snapshots of the kids to discovering my style or vision when it comes to these challenges. Still - tons of fun viewing the entries, watching the forums, reading the comments and just dreaming of the high scores I will recieve in Deja Vu II.

I have finally finished voting and commenting on this current challenge, and "yes", I was "very" disappointed with the results.
I have "NEVER" marked so many "LOW" scores in one challenge before.
Only a handfull of excellent "WOW" type images.
What went wrong, as "Footwear" should have been such a great subject matter, re challenges.....
All the "Best" members, and sorry I had to vote so low.....as it was just the way I personally saw it. |

Just a comment on your shoe pic... unfortunately you wouldn't have been able to submit that one. Anything here has to be taken during the time-span of the challenge, so make sure your date is set properly on your camera.

To all who voted, thankyou for letting me meet one of goals for 2006, to get in to the top 20 at least once. Don't know how it happened, I expect they will do another compilation and then my dream will be shot, and I'll end up lower in the rankings. But as it stands now, here is my position, and thanks again.
