Ha! Nice "featured" photo. Like how in the thumbnail it appears that it will be a cute, semi-risque shot, but once you open it you start to wonder about the unshaven legs and the sort of masqueline nature of the feet. Self portrait? ;)

While it is there it is footwear.
Just as much footwear as drawings that ribbond (they were nice too).

Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.

First Impression - the most important one:
Interesting shot .. I don't think many people would see this as meeting the challenge (and they didn't from the voting) but technically not bad.

Composition:
I can make out some nice horizontal thirds going on here ... not quite the verticals .. but hey not really room for them in this small room shot.

Subject:
First instinct - where is the footwear ... I think is may be what a lot of people thought. Although it is a take that not many would have thought of ... I think it is funny myself .. but I have a warped sense of life.

Technical (Colour and light):
This is where I think you excelled .. good crisp colours .. great lighting ... really nice natual feet/skin tones .. works for me.

To grow its vote?:
Meet the challenge .. put some footwear on apart from knickers that is ... :)

Summary:
Good take .. pity others didn't see it .. but you always have that unique view of life.
