Issac Majak is one of the Lost Boys of Sudan. I loaned him my camera to take on his first trip back to Sudan and the village he was born in. This kid is about 20 (no one knows for sure), he has had a bit if film experience in highschool. This is his FIRST try with digital. My camera returned ( wasnt sure it would) full of the most amazing pictures which I have been uploading for him. He also has 11 rolls of film but no money to develop them so we may have more surprises to come.

Please take a look and say something encouraging to Isaac. I think he is discouraged that he can't save all of Southern Sudan. Also, any ideas what we can do with these beautiful images??

This is my favorite:

Superb photos. I can feel the essence of the life in your village in the Sudan in these images. Well done Isaac.

Very emotive images. They do a great job of providing a glimpse into a place some of us know nothing about. Isaac should be proud!

loved these....very cool.

I liked this one: Woman smoking pipe

Yes, it's not technically perfect....but I love how the woman is just sitting and enjoying smoking her pipe.

Would love to see all the ones on film too!!

Ellen, Thank yo so much for sharing these. I thoroughly enjoyed browsing through them. Lady with a Blue Hat is my absolute favorite, but there are many wonderful, telling images there. He should be proud. And how wonderful of you to loan him a camera so that he's able to share his vision with others. :-)
