Regarding Jeff - I had a comment on my Troll pic and I noticed the thumbnail to Jeff's original pic was gone and then saw that his account was deleted. My heart kinda sank - then I managed to search around and read the posts and see what happened. Sad.

I agree with Shutterpug that his wife is entitled to her feelings regardless of what people here think. And also this is between Jeff and Demia, but I'm not in favor of not talking about the general issue - what good is that? I think it should be talked about. The situation made me think about my own situation and I will probably talk with my wife about it just in case.

I think Elli's only thing is - she got dragged into this somehow and she can't understand why. There was a quote about "crickets in her pants" but that was a STORY - a TRUE story. She wasnt flirting, she was telling something that horrifies her. And Jeff wasnt even HERE at the time - Wave was and I think loz. Nobody else! Somehow she got dragged into it this morning then colyla posted something about Elli - and basically I agree with both of you - the topic is good to talk about but the specifics of this situation are just drama. Nobody needs that.

Agreed. I am just utterly fascinated at how internet interactions and virtual friendships / relationships cross over from the virtual world and actually impact peoples real lives like that. I know it works both ways - good and bad. I am sort of an amateur student of human behavior and this stuff just intrigues me.

Yeah i was here when she told that story. I remember that and a few others that were posted then. I think that was posted way before Jeff really got involved in this thread, because that was one of the earlier weeks.

I wish both Jeff and his wife lots of luck. I do hope that they sort through this stuff :)

I still think there is more to the original story than what we saw here. Out of respect for a friend I will miss very much, I won't speculate as to what that was. I think this thread and this group has it's moments. We have probably all had moments where we said something we shouldn't or wouldn't say in another setting. All in all I think we've learned that things said in fun are not always fun for everyone. Hopefully things will improve as time goes on.

All I know is that Jeff is a very down to earth good man, not a bad bone in his being. He never got ranting at DPC, never offended and then publicly brought it out, and always had nice things to say to everyone. He spoke lovingly of his wife and kids. I admired his gentleness and loveing spirit. He was quite a friend and offerd words of encouragement in PM's to me as he knew I was going through rough times. I spoke with his wife on the phone a few days before all this happened and she was so sweet...this just took me as a shocking surprise
