As much fun as i have had, and as many great friends as i had made, it has become apparently that i must withdrawn from this thread & the forums. I will sleep on whether i will also withdraw from the site.

This in not because of Demia, or her emotional outbreak that lead to the public expression of a PRIVATE matter. Nor is it because of the PUBLIC conversations we have had on this thread, including the INNOCENT tale of when a locust got in my underpants while they were drying on the line (which you are all WELCOME to read - it occurs about page 10 or 11 of this thread, at 200 posts per page).
I do not feel comfortable remaing when the SC, as represented by Frisca and mk, has shown such utter disregard for the emotions and ramifications for those that have become, inavertantly, involved in the situation. Those involved in both the inner and secondary circles of the events that unfolded yesterday, know that no, it wasnt ALL public. We have requested it be left alone, just as SC makes the same request when something becomes inflammatory.
Trust me, i, and i think i can speak for shannon too, am already sufficiently distraught from the events that have past - we already have been publicly vilified, and had red letters painted upon us. There was no need for anyone to play devils avocate, and state that people can say whatever defamatory things they like, because a small section, most that which was innocent, and of no direct consequence to the conclusions which Demia was drawn too were made on a public forum. Because that IS disrespectful, hurtful and inconsiderate.
I did not ask for this, i did not do anything to instigate this (and you are more than welcome to read the entire thread and see that for yourself) and i will ask you ONCE AGAIN to leave me out of it.

aww mes....dont let two people run you off.

I resent that I have been accused of running anyone off. As I have stated repeatedly, I am simply advocating for individuals who read this thread on this forum to be allowed to post. If one person, such as mesmeraj would not like her name raised, she can ask that it not be raised. Her subsequent posts have been asking instead that everyone NOT talk about the entire subject anymore, which I, and mk, indicated, is contrary to the nature of a public forum.

well - guess you resent me then as that's they way I took it as mes feeling you're running her off. Since I'm not real popular on this site, or a favorite person here it doesn t matter to me if you're miffed at me now.

I don't get it. Everyone in here decides, in a public forum, to have a happy little commune fest. Then, when something negative happens, suddenly it's supposed to be hush-hush and "how dare you come and talk about it" and what-not? Well, newsflash for the real world, it's too late. You had it happen on a public forum, you'll have to deal with it in that same public forum. You can *ask* people all you want to not talk about it, but the discretion lies with those people, not with SC. You've made your beds, now you have to sleep in them.

It's funny to me that ya'll keep saying we should keep our private stuff private, and yet, when we do try to keep it private, and tell others that it's none of their business, we're then told that we're doing something wrong.

Which is it? Should we air it all out? Should we keep it to ourselves?

It is a private matter, and not to be discussed in the forums.

As you said. So stop talking about it, it's done and over. Please, just stop.

Actually, Demia pulled the sheets over all our heads.

I thought everyone had us on the ignore list anyways? Why the sudden interest.

I think it's because all the detractors just love that all this craziness came down on the silly people. "Oh, lookee, the site jokers just got a dose of reality. Lets go grind in the pain"

OK, it looks like this thread has outlasted it's original purpose, and is too emotionally-charged for anything new to be added, so I've locked this thread down.

Please remember that the DPC forums are public, which means that anyone on DPC can post to them if they so wish, as long as they're not breaking any site rules. If you wish to have a private discussion, the DPC forums are not the place to hold them, and a public thread cannot be made private.
