Thanks for that reminder - I don't feel so well anyway and this conversation did not help one bit.
I am sitting here trying not to on my keyboard. At least it's just me and not the kids yet but have been there before - nothing is worse than having somebody ralph in your hands. |

Sorry to hear you have a sick one. Hope it doesn't get passed around to the rest of you. Love the "butt pill" quote from your kids. lol
Sounds like it going to be a good weekend to just stay in. We may actually have some winter weather. This winter has been crazy here, huh? I looked out back earlier and my peach trees are blooming like crazy. :( |

Tell me about it- here in KS my daffodils are up and budding. They have always been overachievers.

| SOmeday they will be grown up and gone and it will be all a happy. I look back affectionately to one day when I was sick and my two year old stood by the toilet with me delightedly cheering "Do it again, Mommy, Do it again." |

Brand new here - and what a first post.
WAY up north of you (Ontario, Canada), and suffering through a sick son and hubby today as well. My daughter was sick in our bed the night before last.
So far, I'm the only one unscathed.
Hope you're all feeling better soon. |

Oh yes there is. On your head, neck, belly, etc.. Been there more that once. Hands can be washed easily, other areas have ya have take off yucky clothes, and ya have to shower. :) |

Parenthood is a JOY - even with all the Puke and dirty nappies (Dads hates dirty nappies...) and broken glass stuff and milk all over the remote and sticky old sweets in your car seat etc etc etc - It is all worth while.
I got a little two and a half year old girl - the joy of my life. When I get home tired after a 12hour shift - she runs to me with a big smile and jumps in my arms (then comments on my dirty clothes).
Having kids has got bad times, but the good times is far more than the bad. I will not swop dadhood for anything else.

Doing better now...at least I think. He's eating a little bit of chicken broth and jello, so that will be a big test. He DOES feel good enough to argue with his brothers about the XBOX so I think he's on the road to recovery. ;)
Glad yours is OK too...I'm sure that was frightening for you to deal with today. The fact that my oldest will be driving in a mere 4 years scares the bejesus out of me, and probably 2/3 of the greater Greenville populus! ;) |
