Yay! I'm caught up now!

Just to let you all know, we are out of easy photographs (all distributed), out of moderate photographs (all distributed), and down to about 20 moderate-difficult ones (with volunteers I still have to send to!)!

So I think we're good!
Thank-you so so much for all of your help! We would've taken forever to get them all done!

When we know about what is going on with the future of Operation Photo Rescue, I will post it up here!

Talk about a fast response. I emailed Becky a question and got an answer in 4 minutes. :)

Just want to thank those that are helping with this. I am from Mississippi and while I didn't lose anything myself, mainly because I moved away from the coast a couple years ago, I have family/friends who have lost a lot. I don't know if they know about this already but I will be passing this info along to them. Wish I was good enough to help with this. I would probably actually make the photos worse than they are aleady.

Anyway I really want to thank everyone that is helping with this.

Just had to say what an outstanding job you all have done with these. What a talanted group this is. Can you imagine the smiles on the peoples faces when they see these.

I recieved some photos this morning but I had to bow out. We lost our dog/best friend last night. She was 15 1/2 and we've had her since she was 4 months old. My heart was too heavy to try to concentrate on anything today. I hope they continue this and I get a chance to contribute next time.

Brenb...
I'm very very sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.....

"There must be a heaven for the animal friends we love. They are not human yet they bring out our own humanity...sometimes in ways that other people cannot. They do not worry about fame or fortune...instead, they bring our hearts nearer to the joy of simple thngs. Each day they teach us little lessons in trust and steadfast affection. Whatever heaven may be, there's surely a place in it for friends as good as these. Anyone who has loved a pet can understand your loss."

author unknown....a poem I received when I lost a dear friend.

Just sent my last image to Becky. This one was HARD (though marked moderate)!

02/06/2006 09:43:26 PM · #187
I receieved a couple of photos from Becky early this afternoon. I had asked for easy to moderate. I'm not quite at the skill level I'd like to be. :-( I should have stopped with 'easy'. The last thing I want to do is mess up these photos. I'm sure for most of you these would be relatively easy to fix so if anyone has some time on their hands and wants to try either one or both of them, please let me know.
I really wish I had the skill to fix these, but I have to be honest and admit that I don't.

Any help you could give would be appreciated. If you're interested, just PM me with your email or post in the thread and I'll send them right over.
- Laura

Edit to add: fotomann_forever has graciously volunteered his help. I've sent the photos to him and can't wait to see how great he makes them look.

Would this be considered a EASY - MODERATE - HARD photograph?

I believe it is hard. Here is what I have done (about 2 hours of work) and have a long ways to go before done.

The last one I can do.

It was a learning experience. Maybe I went to far in building the missing info?

Moderately hard. =)
I think I can see how I would approach it. If you want, I'd be willing to take a crack at it. Send me a PM, if you want and I'll send you a proper e-mail address.
