I have a question on how much to charge for doing some photos. I have a friend who is in a business selling pretty high end hand bags. Here is the website Go Yen Bags and if you go into online shopping you'll see that many of the shots they have up include a model. They don't like how they look with the model so they wanted me to do some shots of the handbags using some professional lights and backdrops (which i have free access to). They will need me to do a few shots of the bags every month as they get new ones in. Any suggestions on how much to charge for that?

£7 an hour???????t
Don't under sell yourself they will just take advantage of you.
Don't forget that by you doning the shots cheap, a professional photographer will go hungry...

£200-£300 per bag/picture wouldn't be unreasonable

I should point out that I will normally charge more but they are freinds and it only takes a couple of hours to do. I can also put my prices up when I have more people wanting my pics:)

The more people you have wanting pics the more you charge as your time is limited with the amount of work you would have:)

so being that i am not very experienced and dont have an extremely high demand for doing photos... would it be fair to charge $25 per purse/photo.

I would think about $25-30 per print would be great:)

EDIT* I have had no shots in this kind of area yet but that would be the amount I would think of charging:)
