Only 5 gigs for 2 weeks in Japan?! I shoot in RAW, so I easily go through 1 gig in one day, even in places much less exciting than Japan... If I were you, I would take a laptop or something else to unload your photos
Originally posted by Rikki: I am going there prepared :) This is what I'll be bringing:
- monopod
- mini 27" tripod
- 18-55mm kit lens
- 10-22mm lens
- 75-300mm lens
- 5 gigs of memory
It's going to be fun. I'm more prepared now than when I went there in March this year. Bren is right. I'll be post processing until I'm blue in the face ;) |

I thought about that but I don't have a laptop nor a portable drive ;( I have to be selective when shooting RAW. I do shoot RAW as well. |

Rikki should pick one of those portable storage units up in japan. Shouldn't they be cheaper over there?

I lugged my 13 lb. laptop around Japan for two weeks a few months ago. I'm glad I was able to download every evening but I will definitely be getting a card scanner for my next trip. |
