There's a last pic of 05, so how about those of you who are shooting 06 already? This is just a random shot of a dart board in my friend's basement (I'm staying here, several states away from home, for the weekend) I took for my PAD, but it's the first real shot I've taken this year. Not counting things like documenting weird happenings at the nerd party I was at, of course.

Hey, blogger links like that don't last for long. You might want to post it in your port.

Here's my first. Actually I have a few, but I don't want to bore anyone! Spent a good 2 hours down on the waterfront this morning.
Yorktown Waterfront
That was taken from my side of the water looking across. |

What better way to start 2006 than to play around with something you've never really played around with before.. I had three close-up filters stacked on the end of my 50mm f/1.7 for this shot :) |

We went to see the New Years fireworks on the Seattle Space Needle, but they were very disappointing.
Afterwards I stayed to take a few more photos of the needle and the skyline. This is the one I like best.

Thanks for making me homesick Beetle! Gorgeous shot!
We saw the space needle last tuesday night when we flew into Seattle for Layover. Yes, it was actually clear enough to see the Space Needle from the plane lol. |
