Well I have had covers of magazines before but for some reason I think this one just damn rocks!
:::SETUP:::
I took the picture during a NASCAR race back in March of 2005, the image came out better than I planned it and I was very excited when I saw it. I showed it to my boss who was impressed who then showed it to one of the top NASCAR photographers who also was impressed.
But after pushing this picture for weeks, no one wanted to use it (though it may go into next years race program). So I was really excited when I got the phone call from this company who wanted to use it and it turned out to be some pretty cool bragging rights.
So here it is...
a one year cover on the Las Vegas Yellow Pages and a 6 month run on the White Pages.
Just the idea that one of my images will be in every hotel, in every hotel room, and in every home in the Las Vegas area is a pretty good ego boost. Millions of people will be seeing it... I'll be famous I tell ya, FAMOUS!

Wow! I don't think you can get much better exposure! Congrats on both the pic and the placement.
I also think there's a good lesson there about persistence. When you know you have a winning / marketable shot, keep pushing it! Well done. |

Congratulations Jason! That's a really nice feather in your hat. Great shot and it looks wonderful in that layout.

Wow, that's a totally awesome photo! Almost as totally awesome as ninjas.
Congrats, and be sure to get lots of phone books. If I were you my Christmas shopping for next year would be finished. :-)
