Ah ok, I'll stop playing... I've been scribbling a few ideas down but hadn't tried to transfer them to the 'puter yet. Nothing particularly mindblowing so I'm sure Annah's will trump them a hundred times over!

Jenn and I have now been in touch and I've sent her the digital copy of the cookbook. She's also been visiting my mum's website for Indian recipes and said her husband's quite excited about those! :o)

I just figured it out - I do wish for something!
More portfolio space. Always maxing it out, then have to dump pics with favs or comments to add anything else.
Hate doing that.

Annah where are you? Has anyone heard from Annah? If you pop in Annah and see this please shoot me an email at bren@brenburrill.com I still have your Christmas wishes sitting here beside me. I sent you several emails but haven't heard back at all. I hope they were able to fix your computer.

Brad I questioned whether this could be done and was told not for now but they have many request for this and it might be something new for 2006. So you don't have to lose your photos/comments until they increase it, I would be more than happy to set up a section in my gallery that you could link to directly from your portfolio. You could transfer your comments to it also but would have to put their username with it. It would have my url but you can make your own header with your name and such to be used. If this would help you at all just give me a yell and I will be more than happy to set it up for you.

Here's a link to my gallery if your interested

I will send tryals a British Isles travel guide. I will PM to find out exactly what sort is required and send after Christmas now I'm afraid.

I'm willing to offer board and lodging for travellers in the UK so if anyone is planning a trip to the UK let me know.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

:))

Updated the list with a few wishes filled.

It's not too late guys & gals - we've filled over FORTY wishes! That's amazing! If you can look through the list once more - see if there are wishes you can fill - and if you haven't added your list, go ahead!

Happy holidays all! I will keep updating this thread as long as people are filling holiday wishes.

How about a tall, handsome, Christian, intelligent, gainfully employed good guy for my daughter? :) (she'll kill me for this one lol) (If he likes to sing, that's a plus.) She'll be 24 in January.
12/22/2005 01:06:53 PM · #316
Gotta be single?
Oh - nevermind - only qualified in the gainfully employed area anyway.
12/22/2005 01:08:07 PM · #317
Um....I added it. lol

(I'm 6'1 and can claim gainful employment and a bit of intellect, but I'm not in choir for TWO reasons you can probly guess now).

;)

Good luck on that one Judy!

vikas - PM me about the G5
12/22/2005 01:16:26 PM · #321
Mine is a charger for my Canon BP-511 batteries.

I'm having to use my old G2 for charging them at the moment, and the charge only lasts about 3 minutes :(

Oh, and one of those cool Zenitar fisheye lenses with an EF mount :)

LKM a really good way to help you learn Photoshop CS is to do a search on google for Photoshop CS tutorials for photography. They are step by step instuctions. I also found these books very helpful "The Photoshop CS Book for Digital Photographers" by Scott Kelby and "Adobe Photoshop CS for Photographers" by Martin Evening

A good way to help you with your photography skills also is to read all you can find online about it. I have some links I'll share with you as soon as I get a chance to go through my favorites. I'm sure others have some good reads too.

Here's just a few I found in a quick look. If you have any questions while learning, I'll be more than happy to help in the areas I can. Just PM me.

I already got mine. Darling hubby surprised me with a Tamron AF70-300mm as an early Christmas present about a month ago and then this past weekend surprised me with a 7500DX digital flash, 2 uv filters (to cover both lenses) and polarized (circular) lens for my primary lens. Hmmm...beginning to sound like a song I'm familiar with... next week a partridge in a pear tree?

Well, as long as we are wishing, I could use:

A Nikon SB-800 or SB-600 Flash.
A new head unit for my bogen tri-pod.
For everyone to have a safe and happy holiday(s)!
