I have a Sony Mavica and when use the information extractors to get exposure information, there is none. Is there a setting in my camera that I have turned off?

Your model does not record exif data :(

If my Sony Mavica doesn't record exposure information does that mean that I am not able to enter the challenges? I'd hate to have to buy a new camera just to join. Is there a way around this problem?

EXIF info is only used when there is a question of the legality of a shot... Submit away and worry not. A lot of folks don't include this info... The honor system pulls a lot of wieght at this site.

NOTE : I'm not official here in any way shape or form and I might be wrong about what I've said... But I doubt it :)

You can get a small digital "travel" clock which has a date/time display. Include it in your shot somewhere you can crop it out or incorporate it into the composition.

Or refrain from submitting photos so daring as to draw a DQ request...
