I got a 3.9 once. And a 6.7. Go figure! My favorite pic got like a 4.2.

i like all the pics i submit... i would never submit one i didn't like. but man, there are some i really don't like AFTER a challenge!

I am not doing so bad now. This score is a lot closer to what I expected and so far the commentors have been pretty ammused by my photo lol A lot of good feedback :)

Me curious? Never lol Not as curious as you I take it matt lol Of course you are curious about anyone that is female haha I can control myself a lot better than you can ;)

M your 3.9 though was your very first image. You didn't know any better back then lol I can't imagine that you would enter a photo like that these days.

My lowest photo was 4.0 or something. The worst part though was that it was a self portrait lol I think though, I didn't really do that bad of a job, and after people realised that the photo was taken with a camera that didn't have timer, the comments where better.

Ya know though some of my early shots prob should have scored a lot worse than they did.

This shot here (first entry):

It was a bad photo and its uninteresting. Its small too. If I was judging it today, I wouldn't give it a 4.7

This shot here was my second entery adn recived a 4.2.

It fits the challenge but the photo is blurry and very noisy. I would score it a 2 lol

I think dpc though has probably become a lot more strick as time has gone by. The site has evolved a lot as the community has grown both in numbers and in experiance.

Nog with experiance you will learn a lot and grow. We all get scores that we don't always agree with. Just take photos of things that mean something to you and you really can't go wrong. Yes you want to learn, but remember to always have fun and please yourself in the process lol

Everyone has there own style, so never forget that lol

If you want any tips try and work on your sharpness of images. The photos you are doing better with are the ourdoor shots that are well lit and have good focus. The more you learn about your camera and about all the different settings the better.

Play around and have fun :)

I used to have a lot that I took with mine too. I have a few in my profile. Everything priot to my last 8 enteries were taken with it.

They are a few of the ones (plus the rond one from my earlier post) that I took with it. Its so hard to do. The fishnet one is funny. Its not a good shot, because the camera was far too limited for that kind of shot, but the male vote got me a 12th place hahaha

I love the male votes lol

It would have to be one of the higher rated under 1mp photos on the site. I know its not 'the' highest though. But 6.1 isn't bad for a 0.9mp camera lol

I had a billion photos of me with that camera. Most were of the "clothing optional" variety thuogh lol I only upgraded cameras so I could have a timer to take photos of myself hahaha

Oh and this was hand held too with that camera lol Not an easy task lol

Half the time I had to take the photo with the one hand, control the lighting at the same time plus model lol Three things at once is way too much multi tasking lol Plus its not exactly easy to hold the camera and press the shutter with one one hand lol

Matt how am I doing with the 2200 goal? lol :p

With the gardens shot, I thought it was a great idea to take out the green. It looks so shit now and stupid lol I don't know why I thought it would work lol It doesn't lol

i upgraded pretty much for the same reason - it was breaking my back and various other parts to take pictures likethat without getting the obvious arm in shot thing. I purchased the next camera with sales i made of the prints from the dc3200.

Where they taken hand held or did someone help ya? I have similar shots. The first and second look hard to take by yourself, althouh I know I have done it too lol

How did you sell them with such a low resolution? Did that matter?
