Me!

Sorry, I'm too new to have an opinion.
11/08/2005 06:12:42 PM · #79
I have equal first choices, e301, who's already had plenty of nominations (...so screw Ed), and xion, who I can't believe has been overlooked here ... astonishing artistic vision and imagination!

LOL, thanks for the vote! It's been a while since I commented on many photos here... perhaps I'll submit you all to some more soon!

Wow, thanks for mentioning me vrtuan. I'm surprised, shocked, and honored. For me, Jutilda has been very helpful and seems to comment on nearly all the challenges. Way to go girl!

This was an interesting thread I found while DPC was broken. Perhaps it is this experiment that broke DPC, it just took some time. :P

But out of curiosity, Who is your favorite photographer on DPChallenge that you receive feedback and inspiration from?
Please cast a vote for ONE photographer only. Your vote should be based on your interest in their photography AND the quality of feedback that you receive from that person.
Interested to see the answers nowadays...
I will think about my answer and post when I narrow it down.

Golly, if there were just one I would find out where he or she lived and go pester her or him beyond endurance. [Sanitized version].

posthumous
And I'd keep ubique on the list.
03/06/2009 03:18:32 AM · #93
I dont think there is just one of them that I admire and get inspired and learn from. It would be unfair to name one and leave the rest. This thread would make more sense to me if we could name at least 3.

I could probably come up with something, though I have a hard time figuring on one only.

Where I run into the problem is that as I've grown, and become accustomed to life here at DPC, my list of people who help, encourage, inspire, and enrich my life here grows in different ways and for different reasons.

Bear_Music is probably one who'd be on my short list for all 'round terrific person across many levels, yet the massive amount of encouragement, education, cajoling & pushing towards discovering the talents and developing the basic skills early on definitely was under the kind guidance of Sean Mahoney cutlassdude70.

Jutilda and Melethia both get my vote for all 'round special, gregarious, outgoing, funny, and honest, joie-de-vivre valuable members, and IreneM and SandyP get my vote for a quieter, yet no less wonderful set of kudos.

I'd be remiss to not mention IreneM, roz, Ivory, iamwoman, Judi, and pretty much the entire roster of Team Suck as well.

posthumous, ubique, zeuszen, PhotoInterest, and violinist123 have been instrumental of late in helping me see images much differently and to step outside of my voting and commenting zone enough to re-evaluate how I, and others do it......with a great amount of eye-opening knowledge imparted to me along the way that makes me a more assured, and honest voter/commenter.

And the forums......boy do I *EVER* learn a lot there!

I'm not even going to start on the list of people who make me laugh, cry, shriek with rage, make me think about things that never occur to me, and whom I wouldn't want to be without.

Yep......that clinches it for me.....I can't possibly select just one.

Never mind......8>)

I also nominate Jutilda ...
