I have put up my gallery of Nepal during my recent trip.

You want to see portraits of the beautiful people of Nepal like this:

If you're for the intimate colours of the country like this:

Please leave comments. Many thanks.

You went to Nepal and didn't shoot any LANDSCAPES? Sheesh, manny...

Kidding aside, these are very lovely images, raw and colorful and identifiably yours.

jejejeâ„¢ Look at it this way, the man went to the Roof of the World, and didn't shoot the ceiling... Sigh... I'd give anything to shoot the Himalaya... And probably wouldn't have brought back a single "people shot" that could match even one of his...

Wow, real nice collection Manny. It's a real feast for the eyes and soul isn't it, Nepal. I was there in 1998 and took tons of shots as well on film. Just waiting to have them scanned for digital re-work and storage. Not as good as your shots but will share them one day for DPCers to make up their mind. And Robert, I did take some landscape shots. :)

No kidding! I didn't even think about the fact that there wasn't any landscapes until someone said something about it.

Stunning work, it was a real delight to spend time going through all those gorgeous images.

I did shoot landscape. Okay, I will post-process them and post it in the gallery as well as here in dpchallenge (soon). They are not very good. I didn't get to see the eEverest very clearly as the sky was cloudy then. But I did shoot a lot of buildings. Tomorrow...come back to my gallery I will post some landscape/scenic shots.

Thanks for the comments.

Stunning as usual, Manny... such rich color, texture, and depth. What beautiful people and culture! Thanks for a mental vacation! :)

Brings me back to my trip there!! I had a $20 film camera that took really crapy photos. Yours are ... as usual... NG material! Now if only you could write an article I'm sure you'd get into NG Traveller. :-)

I can't get onto the pbase site though.. i have been having problems with it all day.. perhaps it is down, or perhaps there is a problem with my computer or connetcion. I am looking forward to seeing more though.

Manny,
Couldn't access the link at the moment - probably my computer, but from what I can see here on DPC these are amazing, beautiful, vibrant pictures.

For those who weren't able to access the link yesterday, I guess it is now up and running. I am quite proud about my Nepal gallery. I have so much picture that passed my standard that it would take me quite sometime before I can finish putting them all up (as I am doing it in very slow installments as I like people to see them in bits and pieces).

Thank you so much for the wonderful commnets about my Nepal gallery. Nepal is a very beautiful country. For someone planning to travel to Asia, this country should be on top of the list. The peace and order situation is okay now (with the ongoing ceasefire). Just don't fly Air Nepal. Our flight was delayed for two days. But who cares? As I was traveling on tour, the agency paid for the accommodaion an dthe food.

Thanks again.
