Not sure if this would qualify without lightening the background a bit |

No snow in that picture either, Rikki; nothing but plastic tarps shrunk around boats in storage :-) And thanx. I should have entered it in the last "light on white" but made a bad choice and entered an image that bombed.

 Robt.

I take that back; I see a patch of snow middle right :-)

		Soo.. I have a question..

Is it kosher to convert the image to black & white to ehance the 'light on white' feel?

I looked through the previous challenge and saw in some of the descriptions that the effect was achieved this way in many.. I'm just wondering if that'll be looked as a backdoor way of getting the look or not? The photo I am thinking about entering falls under light on white in its original sense, but looks a bit more dramatic IMO if I b/w it up.

 Ideas?

i'd have to say, and this is nothing personal but Rikki, Tranquil & Biteme all would be pushing the DNMC on technical plain with me. Particularly the guitar.

Lauries and Chers would be on par with what i would expect. |

I agree as well. I think I'll just read the examples and not enter the Challenges for a while. I'm serious, by the way.

Be fore worned. I see there are some photos that actually have white on white. This was not very expected on the last challenge. The reason was that white was not a color. I am not saying that but that was what happened.
