I just got a copy of the January/Febuary 2003 Texas magazine and the cover pic looks very much like your pic Gordons How'd they do that
Is this your pic on the cover????

Dunno, I've not seen the magazine you are talking about, so I doubt it. Its open 363 days a year so someone could easily have taken the same shot. |

I should have scanned the pic on the magazine before....but here it is now.
In the magazine it says a Wyatt McSpadden was the photographer. I didnt see that earlier....

um ok...it just looked a lot like your pic. Is there a mark on the floor where every one stands to get that shot? lol :)
Guess I need to stop by there and get a few my self next time I blast through Austin

Well you must have far better eyes then me, I do not see any angels? Do you mean angles?
You are right that Gordon's image is better, I think that it has to do with the positioning of the red star, don't you? |

you have to contort yourself a bit more for the angle in the shot I took - pretty much lying on my back shooting upwards to get the 'lead in' of the pillar. Other than that, it's just pointing the camera up and shooting |
