Um...I stood on a very flimsy ladder while over 30,000 bees were swarming, trekked over a mile across a VERY active volcano to take pics of molten lava, leaned over the absolute front of a VERY small motor boat while whale watching, rode in (not driving, thank God) my dad's Landrover (from the 60's, which also happens to have faulty brakes) in elevations too high for people under the age of 18......and the most dangerous of all; took pics at a nudists beach ;-O

Anna, do you really like a risky life, or is it a normal life in Hawaii? !?!? Just kidding!!! Congratulations for your photos.

These two attacking my wife's little Fiat. Blur due to lens length 170-500 at170mm) and my wife jumping on the gas.

Going to Kruger Park this weekend to see if I can get charged by an elephant hehehe.

Most dangerous place for me so far was hanging over a 100ft high water fall holding onto a tree root to get a better angle - just hoping the rood stays in place and does not break.
Don't have the final results with me at work will sort some out later when I get home.

This shot was for "Bridges" challenge. Royal Gorge drops 1,200 ft, I was fairly close to the edge for the shot. A slip, R.I.P.

No left over photos to share, but...

It was about 25-years ago; I was fresh out of school and had become a real environmental consultant. The boss was looking for somebody with a camera and I lost. We went up in the company small plane (Cessna 170 maybe) and we were going to shoot some IR stuff for a project. This was before the eventual plane we got with a camera port so in order to shoot we opened the windows which lifted up against the wing and the pilot (my boss) would put the plane on its side while I tried to shoot out the open window. We would then swing to the other side and do it again trying to maintain some sort of flight line. So that I could go from side to side I wasn’t secured in any way and was bouncing or sailing around in the back of that plane trying to shoot whatever I could, hold on to my old Pentax K1000, and not end up like my lens cap – being ripped out of the window.

I always hear tales about a geologist who broke through some cooled crust and lost his leg to molten lava below. I don't know how true it is, pretty gruesome though.

This was not dangerous (quite difficult to find dangerous situations in Yorkshire!) but just goes to show how a camera lens in front of your eye takes away a sense of danger.
John (p2jvr) and I were shooting pics in York which has a city wall you can walk around. Now I get vertigo standing on a chair, but we climbed some steps up to the wall where there was a railing. I was fine and leaning over taking pics from various angles and didn't take the camera away from my face. Then John suggested we move on, I put the camera down and froze! I was in a complete panic, legs like jelly and unable to stand up straight. Poor John had to manoevre me along the wall, me clutching any part of his anatomy I could and burying my face in his coat!

As I have mentioned before, a film cameraman I knew, stepped off a cliff whilst filming and was killed so people - be careful out there!!

Almost got robbed by four teenagers:

Drunk people threw stuff at me from a window:

Yeah, I love Luxembourg City. Lots of friendly people...

I don't know yet whether this was dangerous:

I had to press the timer and run/climb like hell. :-)
