So what software did you use? Does anyone know of any free software this can be done with?

I think there is one in the newer version, or maybe After Effects, but you still got to do it frame by frame. Tweening just doesn't work when your thrashing that thing around like crazy. :-D

Great movie Joey. I liked the filming angles....especially little things like the shot of the lock on the ground with the guy walking towards it. cool!

looks like it may be goodbye Ansel Adams and hello Steven Spielberg.

All I can say is Joey you are one amazingly talented kid... keep doing what you're doing

Yeah but at least the effect doesn't have to be hand done...so hopefully it'd be less time spent on each frame...in any case that kind of stuff is always a lot of work, heh.

Very true, I was playing around with an old film camera I found in my granpas basement a few months ago and with a needle I scratched cheesy the negatives frame by frame to put lightning into the sky. Fun stuff. :-D

Your photos and films have such different moods to them...your photos seem to have depth and reason behind them whereas the films I've seen are kind of slapsticky and goofy. The word "cute" comes to mind.

I'll keep watching and can't wait to see your stuff in 5 years...I think you'll look back and say "oops!" when you see this stuff again. I know that your gear, props and location is very limiting and you have much less control over these things than with your photography...hopefully once you have that stuff worked out you can realize your true cinematic potential!

Good luck, keep it up!

I hope I don't come across as a jackass with this post...it's just that I know Joey is serious about wanting to do film and it's nowhere near his photographic quality. He'll get there, I know he will!

I've only posted my lighthearted movies so far. :-D You've got to remember that this film was made as a comedy-style promotion, so it had to be totally goofy and funny.
If you are craving some of my darker movies that are more like my pictures, here's an intro I made for some of my movies:

Play it!

I think you'll find the look of it is very familiar. :-D

It's not so much the darkness, but great composition, sound and lack of distracting backgrounds that make that intro fantastic! Look forward to more!

Very cool Joey! You're racking up quite a worldwide audience already! LOL How many other people at your school (teachers included) can claim that? Thanks for sharing yet another entertaining spectacle of slapstick and dark insight into your world. Great job.
