which you have no excuse for JP! You live in a beautiful area, have tons to photograph - and you take good shots. So - I expect to see you enter one of the current challanges - perhaps Your Corner of the World II

Whoa- wrong room! I thought this the 12 step program support group! I guess not :)

I'll see if I can find my lost muse for one of the current challenges. There's nothing worse than a lost muse. Well, I lost my dog once, that was pretty bad. I keep losing my car keys; that's not as bad, just frustrating. I've lost many socks in the wash, that's not too bad either.

Whoops, enough thread hijacking, good luck on the challenge Deannda!

Nope, no hijacking that I can see!

Hey, if this gets people to pick their camera back up and enter a challenge, GREAT!

In fact, I dare anyone else that has been more than 30 days without entering a challenge to get off your duff and get on the camera and find at least one current challenge to shoot for!

I haven't entered one in over a year. I usually take landscape photos and I'm not really feeling the desert landscape out here. Having a full time job now sure does take up a bunch of my time too.

Anyone know any elementary school superintendents or principals in Montana? I'm ready to move back next year I think.. haha

I can check with my mom and sisters and neices. They all live in Montana but don't get your hopes up, LOL! :)

I actually grew up in Montana. I went to college there and worked in a school for a year before moving down to Arizona. So I still do have some connections up in Montana ;).

There really weren't any jobs in the area of Montana that I lived in, and the pay in Arizona is a ton better. Then again, the cost of living is higher so I think it's all pretty relative.

But if they live in Bozeman or Missoula and have an "in" it couldn't hurt.. haha.

Actually my one sister lives in the Missoula area but as for having an "in", not likely, LOL! :)

Okay, so who else is going to enter that hasn't for a while?

I had a 6-month break while moving cities, jobs and so on. Now that I'm back, I'm still scoring the same.

Still, it's nice to see a lot of familiar names as well as a lot of oldies.

7 months so far for me - every week I still want to enter and every week goes by.

In that time I've changed job and country, but am now settled and still not getting an entry in.

I think that I need a boost

Looking forward to that Gary. Can't wait to see your new photos. Can't wait to get inspiration from your shots.

First I have to find where I stowed my camera, then I have to clean the rust and cobwebs off it, and finally I'll have to remember how to use it again :)
