ellamay, it's unbelievable that this scored as low as it did. It's a wonderfully creative photo - despite the narrow-minded comments about how it didn't meet the challenge... You can be very proud of this capture!

I honestly have quite a few that I like, otherwise I wouldn't enter them or put them in my port. In any case I could probably post quite a few that are my personal faves, but anyway I will shut up now. |

This was a challenge outtake that I liked better than the one I submitted, but that required some advanced editing that I couldn't do for the open challenge

This didn't do well in the competition but it is still my favorite. Maybe because of the emotional impact, for me, of the story behind it.

 I like this because i'm pretty proud of the composition, the background and the foreground are exactly as i wanted them, the lighting is just what i was trying to get... and it was the final result of a long and up-to-then frustrating stalk of the same heron over many days.
