The "Soul" i was trying to make it comes out from the skeleton hand is acctually my hand.. its the easiest way to make shapes.. i tried to make it alive by giving it a face figure or something similar and mysterious... coming out of the hand..
(Remote Control shutter is very important in this one)
took me a while to set the light from the bottom... (days untill i figure tha this is the right one.)

about me: this is my first chellange and i strongly beleive in critisim and making ways to improve yourself by other opinios so i will be happy if you visit my portofile...

thx..

There's some super active imagination at work here! Wicked shot! I think the light coming up from the coins is just a little too bright, but it's still a very good image. Congratulations!

I think the color is a bit off though I can't say how. And I wish the coins had completely covered the surface. BUT. I am in total awe of this photo and I think that it is an AMAZING way to start off your challenge entries. I can tell you put a lot of work into this and it really shows.

Oh, and I just saw that this was a basic editing challenge, and you placed 17th. Even more awesome.

Very well done. 'Grats on high finish. I agree this should have scored higher.

Congrats on your top 20. This one should have placed top 10 in my opinion.

neat lighting from below. But the hand is too "pop culture without irony".

Wow. I'll be VERY interested to see how this one was done. Definately the most creative shot I've seen for this challenge. The fog almost looks like a skull.

a it too "tales from the crypt" for my taste, but a fantasic job on the set up. Afew minor quibbels, the hot spots from under the coins are too white and they distract ffon the hand, either a differnt color or more coins would have helped. while I love the smoke the tone is so similar to the rest of the composition that it blends a bit instead of popping. as i said minor quibbles, great work, top ten

I like the illusion of fire and light beneath the coins.

Creative -- well composed -- a bit overexposed on the hand. Good job stepping out of the box without losing the context of the challenge.

This challenge was so hard to interpret - this is one of the few that 'grabbed' me.

Morbid, yet facinating. This is a new take on the challenge and one that more people today should perhaps pay attention to. Big points for creativity, good composition, solid shot. Yeah, I think that a 10 is in order...

WOW - very interesting. I love the ghostly face going up from the hand. Real different and definitely original. If it were me, I'd have cropped just below the hand. Nice use of lighting.

Be afraid! Very afraid! Yep, sounds like affluence to me, not much to take with you when you go yonder..

nice intepretation and composition. if only the focus could have been sharper on the hand. 8

too much glare (8)....could have been a 10 with improved lighting/highlights

While I understand and agree with your social commentary about affluence, the challenge topic is affluence and as such your image does not meet the challenge in my opinion. Your image is unique and artfully shot.
