about my image... by the looks of the score, most people didn't consider it high contrast but I beg to differ... I thought this would place higher compared to the rest but I was wrong. When am I ever right? :P
I would appreciate any thoughts after the fact about this image. For me clearly there is contrast (a lot I might add) but the scores don't reflect it. I appreciate any comments be left on the image itself so I can remember and learn from it. My threads easily get lost in the crowd. Thanks again in advance.

The challenge was not about just achieving high contrast.
The shot suffers from vignetting and some of the highlights are blown out. Equally many of the shadow areas are lost.

I don't think your score reflects any lack of contrast. The cropping is awkward, the darkening upper right is a weak point, the trees upper left feel muddy and distracting. On the plus side, the people are wonderful. But overall, it's not that strong an image when judged on its own merits outside the challenge frame, I think.
Lovely fountain though :-)
