some other bird pecked him in the back of the head! I found him laying on my deck with part of his brains underneath him.

See...if you were Joey Lawrence you would've taken the photo at floor angle and selectively desaturated it so that the brains were the only thing within color.

Poor. Dead. Bird.

Poor. Dead. Bird.

Nothing against the talented Joey - but I prefer to be myself.

I agree Pug. I was just being facetious here.

Again, Poor. Bird. May he rest in peace.

A yellow bird
With a yellow bill
Was perched upon
My window sill
I lured him in
With piece of bread
And then I... ahh, you guys know the rest.

Baby, baby why canĂ¢€™t you sit still?
Who killed that bird out on you window sill?
Are you the reason that he broke his back?
Did I see you laugh about that?

a musical moment courtesy of the Black Crowes. :)

was no stink as he had not been there too long - I know because his body was still soft. I did not see him and walked out on the deck barefoot....squish. ewwwwwww.
Here's a better close up for ya. The chunk under the beak is from the hole in the back of his head
