The votes are really jumping all over the place (granted all NINE of them so far). I need to learn some patience and wait until morning before clicking away on the Update button - this is gonna give me a coronary. LOL (But it's so much fun!)

One said it had lots of contrast but poor comp, the other said "Where's the contast?" Like I said opinions are widely varied.

Ho, well, the first comment is from a person who has scored 7.0 before and he/she said "Nice photo, but I'm not sure where the high contrast is." (that's not likely verbatim)
My pic is high risk/high reward and I think I can tell which way it's going to fall in the first hour.
BTW, I am not that much of a beginner that I am unaware of the theory of contrast. People just, once again, have the blinders on...

Nice bear! I am at a 6 or so, but just finished voting on all of them. What is this world coming to? I have't seen so many flat pics ever? Did they read it LOW contrast? I just have to stop looking at them all.

I saw that too; evidently there's some wildly divergent opinions on what HC entails. So it goes...
