Has anyone submitted their Dairy challenge photo yet?
I did today. Pretty happy with it. People will either love it or hate it.... |

Submitted mine yesterday evening. Only time i had to shoot for the this month. And since my membership renewal didn't go through yet, no nudes.
I hope mine will do well, i sort of like it. Its more of an 'advertisement' kind of look.

great shot! Maybe try it again with maybe a diff form of chocolate to hide your identity. Things to work on that you might have gotten comments on: The chocolate is a touch blurred, maybe a faster shutter? And the white is a little overwhelming and undefined, maybe more shadow? I'm not good with studio light, so maybe others would have better advice. Much luck! :) |

A silver umbrella would help on the contrast.. perharps that could help define the milk a little more.
I,m not too fond on the yellow blurp tho.
hmmm chocolat.... |

I entered my dairy after having a VERY hard time trying to decide. It's kind of a twist on the ordinary. I did some "out of the box" shots, but thought I might get slammed. I guess I shouldn't care, but I am pleased with the one that I put in. Hope it does better than NUDES III. UGH

I spent about $20 on chocolate for this challenge. Hopefully I won't be too worn out after work today to do what I'm planning on. Also, hopefully I won't get hurt. My wife & kids have gone away for the week, so I won't have any help. I am pretty excited to try to put my plan into effect, but don't really know if it'll work or not.
:-D

I shudder to think what your plan might be, since it involves $20 worth of chocolate and the chance you might be injured...and the fact that you're alone while creating your masterpiece. Skeeeeeeeeeeeery. ;)

Well, at least you will have an easy time of figuring out D&L...'Damaged & Limping'. ;^)

That's what this is:
I found out in the "Pink" challenge that Pepto doesn't really splash. |

I thought about entering this but pulled it because it ain't got no spark. Maybe a nice stock type of shot that I was going to title a "A True Virgin" but I don't want the heartache of watching it tank for a week.
Am I wrong?

pawdrix-
Just seems a little busy. Too many items in the glass of milk. The colors are nice, but then again do lemons and limes go with dairy?
I would have just stuck with the cookies and milk. The lighting is good on it.

Thanks Kelly I appreciate the comment. I thought that tropical drinks were usually busy as are the places where they're served...but in this case the joke was the cookie and milk, being "dolled up" to contrast with the other tropic fruit garnishes. I guess I missed?

I did an out of the box entry and it might get slammed but it's an exercise on a type of imagery I'm trying out :) |
