all i had was fudge covered cookies. in hindsight - i should have tipped it slightly backwards to catch a bit more of the bounced light.
there is also a trail of drops of milk between the cookie and the glass that didn't come through to well.

out of all the 'got milk' billboards, this is the best. Great job. Maybe darken the milk and glass a little and it would be a 10. (9)

I really like this site when someone uses their imagination and you have. Thank you!

Cool! I would advise more detail in the very dark cookie, but this is one of the best set-ups and compositions for this challenge.

My evaluation method of this challenge is as follows:
1. Did you catch my eye while I was driving by? Yes.
2. If I didn't catch the text while I was driving, did you intrigue me enough to look for this billboard again? Yes.
3. Did you sell your stuff to me? I'm avoiding milk for health reasons. But if I would use it, I would probably go to the next store and get some.
4. Extra thoughts: Funny, surprising, eye catching.
The focus is a bit too soft and the white of the milk is a bit too white.
To the photo itself I would give a 5 but as a billboard you sell well. bumping up to 7.

ok, i am voting this challenge in 2 passes. in this pass, you will get a partial comment and a score. then i will come back to comment again. if you have any problem whatsoever with this comment, pm me and let me know. otherwise, take it with a grain of salt...i'm not trying to be a know-it-all, i'm just explaining where i'm coming from in voting this challenge. and, if this comment is NOT helpful (of if you think i'm full of $#!+), don't mark it helpful.

billboards are a science unto themselves. a lot of research has gone into determining just how much information a person can digest and retain in specific time spans. they use this information to develop formulas for determining the number of words and letters to use on billboards, as well as their sizes. they also determine the size and number of visual elements to include.

the graphics/photograph on a billboard are designed to get the point across in a moment. on the road, a driver will have less time with a billboard than a voter will give your image. this is a key element in the challenge: composing a shot that will get its point across quickly and succintly. along those lines, a strong composition will probably have few details and make strong use of negative space.

as a billboard, this is a GREAT idea. my only nit is the string--it's not heavy enough. this challenge is one of the few where you have to look at the thumbnails as well as the image (that's the closest i can come to simulating 'ride-by' conditions, short of putting my pc in the middle of my yard and running by it.). when you look at the thumb here, you see the glass and cookie, and the text gives you connection, but the string barely comes through. all the same, that's a nit, and not enough for me to vote it down. this is one of my top picks for the challenge, and i really hope it does well! good luck!

Perhaps my moniter is calibrated too bright, but it's very difficult to see the string.

Needs more definition/detail on the cookie, but great idea.

i guess it is like a mouse trap, nicely done, the detail of the glas (the bkue) is great

I don't get this. Oh, now I see is this an oreo cookie? It is hard to tell. With the string, it looks like a ball of thread at first Great idea--just need the cookie to have some detail.

the cookie is too dark, cannot see any details, and color wise it is the only dark thing in the picit draws my eye while the milk is supposed to be the focus...

Whats up with the edge of the cookie? Cut out in Photoshop? Love the idea, composition and creativity! Nice work.
