I'm asking in general, but if possible specifically the Kodak 7590, Kodak makes a wide angle for it, and I've seen lots of other lenses, wide angle, telephoto, fisheye, macro stated to be made for various models of non dslr cams. Anyone use any of these and have any opinions or results?

I had the fisheye and 2x tele converters for my Coolpix 990 (both the nikon lenses) and was quite pleased with the output at the time didn't really notice much of a drop in quality -- if that would still be the case now I don't know (yes I've caught the L-desease).

I have a tele converter for my Powershot A70, and I really liked it. It was a canon lens, and my only complaint was you had to use the LCD monitor to shoot the picture (the lens blocked the view through the eye piece) and the auto focus sometimes had a hard time finding the proper focus. Not sure if this will help since these are canon and not kodak

Cheers

I have a 2.2 raynox for the g6. I like it because I can use the same exposure that I would without it being on, I can use it as a macro without having to get right up on the subject and because of the extra reach it gives.
I dislike that it is like a prime. I keep wanting to zoom with it and that just doesn't work. The evf is not usable, but I didn't use the viewfinder because it doesn't give an accurate representation of the picture anyway. I got a hoodman so I can use the lcd all the time. I can't use the built in flash with it on, either.
