I'm guessing you can see our pics on this website... and I would venture to say that we all have photography as a hobby.

Jeez ppl, this can be quite an interesting topic!
Let me start:
My name is Adriano, 24 year old guy from Curitiba, Brazil. A city which is basically the opposite of what everybody think/know of Brazil. It's some sort of european city, with cold weather most of the time, right in the middle of the hot latin land (well not quite in the middle, it's a bit to the south, right next to Paraguay and Argentina!)!
I pretty much hate my current job, but thank god I'll be leaving it in a couple of days. Then I'll have more quality time. Lived on the US for 7 months already, and I'm really looking forward to it, again!
Quite "better" than a link to my profile

Hi,
My name is Eric, and I'm a photo-holic
I'm a full time photographer who's main source of income is through wedding photography. I also shoot some commercial stuff, portraiture, and some stock through a small rights managed agency based in Colorado. I've been published lots of times in several countries (I wish I made a list, but I never have), and I have a few postcards and a poster that all sell very well.
I worked as the photo editor/photographer for a local newspaper in Telluride Colorado for 3+ years, and worked at a local photo lab for about 5 years. I moved last year to the Berkshires (western Massachusetts) and started shooting weddings full time.
I'm 29 and I have 3 kids, an 8 year old girl Rowan, a four year old girl Nova, and a one year old boy
Zenith. My wonderful "wife" (were not actually married) is named Malika.
My 5 year goal with my career is to be traveling around the world taking photos. And ideally making some money at it too!

Gee, I'll add an "About me"!
Hi, my name is Cheryl and I too, am a photo-holic. (taking a lead from Eric!)
I am in my EARLY 40's and have been happily married to the same wonderful man for 20 years. I have 2 great children, Kristin and Bryan. Kristin is a professional model with Elite and a full time college student. Unfortunately they don't offer a degree in modeling so she is still undecided as to what she wants to get a degree in. Her dad and I just insist she get one! I love to take runway shots of Kristin working and hope to get better at it thru everyone at DPC tutorage. Bry is in High School and is a straight A student and jock. I love HS football so you WILL be seeing some of my shots from the action when it starts up. He is going to be an orthodontist someday (I have brainwashed that into him since the womb!) No, really, my kids and my husband are my life and my passion.
My perceived shortcomings are candid shots so I joined the DPC mentoring group to learn. Photography is a way of dealing with my problem with anxiety. I get out of myself and into the lens and it helps immensely.
We live the metro Atlanta area with 2 dogs, 3 cats, several fish and 1 bird.
I finish my Digital 101 class tonight.
My family and I are going for a week vacation starting Saturday to Bonaire, NA. I hope to have some great vacation shots when I come back from a week on the beach, SCUBA diving and eating and drinking!

Howdy y'all!
I'm Jimmy and I'm from a tiny little town in the southwestern part of Virginia, USA. Did you notice the drawl? ;-)
I'm an IT QA consultant and a part-time photographer. I'm a member of a local art gallery co-op and have only been into photography seriously for about a year - but I'm COMPLETELY hooked now! This site is sooo addictive - all I needed was another vice, but what the hell!
You can see my Portfolio here. I'm 41 (today is my birthday), single, and not looking! LOL
Y'all come on down to see us if'n ya get the time!

Rudra
How about you? Your profile does not say much.
I live in Texas :) We came to visit my wife's parents in Texas in 1981 and decided to move here and have been here ever since then.
My wife's father was originally from Texas and he passed away a few years ago :( He was a Professional Photographer for most of his life. He traveled across the US doing "Pony Pictures" when he was young :)
My wife and I are originally from Upstate NY, about 11 mi from the Canadian border. Oh how I miss the Adirondack Mountains, the St Lawrence River, Lake Ontario and Canada! :). But I do not miss the horrible winters! The Blizzard of '77 was enough for me LOL. The last winter we spent in NY, had a record low temp of -54 deg F. I was a Head ZooKeeper for a small Municipal Zoo in NY for a number of years. What a great time that was :)
My wife and I will have been married for 31 years on Aug 25th.
We have two sons Brian (youngest) and Robin Jr. (oldest).
Brian graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio Texas. He liked it so well he decide to live and work in San Antonio :).
Robin Jr graduated from Yhe University Of Texas at Austin. And he liked it so well he decided to live and work in Austin :)
Both our son's graduated with degrees in Computer Science. I guess my addiction rubbed off on them :)
My interests are Computers, Photography, African Cichlids, Photography, Gardening (Rookie), Photography, Water Gardening (Rookie), and Photography. Oh and did I mention Photography :)
Links to my website and other photo galleries are in my signature.

Just scanning this post and wanted to stop and say thank you to Troy for his service to our country - it is greatly appreciated!
Side note: saw this in your portfolio, and wanted to say that we have one just like it in Seattle. Heeheehee.
