Seems to be some rubbernecking going on in the forums today, so I thought I'd take a shot at starting a proper rubbernecking thread.

So if you have any auto-accidents, post 'em up.

Unfortunately I don't have any to start off.

However, they were all taken at a demonstration (not a REAL accident - sorry to dissapoint you!) by the Orange County FD at a Disaster Medicine Symposium a couple months back.

I went to a demo by our fire dept (Burlington, Ontario) last summer. They 'extricated' someone from a car as part of it. They regularly place 2nd or 3rd in world-wide competitions for that sort of thing, so I hope I'm near home if I ever find myself trapped in a wrecked car.

They also build a small house with a big window on the side. Furnished & everything. They put a candle near some drapes & let them catch. It took a little while to spread, but then it hit the flash-point and suddenly whoosh! It was quite a spectacle! Didn't bring my camera, oops!

Wow - sounds like quite the photo opportunity! Especially the fire - not something that many people have pictures of!

Oh sure, rub it in! If we go again this year I'll bring my camera, complete with its 3X zoom for full effect!
