Umm, not to rain on ya'll but SC already closed another thread for posting outtakes during the challenge.

But that was due to being open before the macro challenge started, by now you cannot alter your entry so i guess the trouble has gone away. :)

I ran out of time and had to choose one, - did not choose the one I really wanted but I literally got in at the stroke of 12. Here is a couple of outtakes. Some I can't use here because it's too close to the challenge photo.

Here's another... went with something completely different, these were much more macro then my submitted one but not as good technically speaking...

Once was blind, Now I see...


This is the first time I have tried to shoot a model of any kind. Comments would be much appreciated.

What I entered is _completely_ different, and the voters are punishing me. Sigh. :)

Wasn't sharp enough but I like it.

Yesterday was my first experience taking bug shots. It was a lot of fun and paid off because my entry is doing well. I can't believe that I almost didn't enter into this challenge, even after getting the Sigma 105mm last month.

It never fails, this fellow shows up a day after the challenge submissions close and poses for 10 minutes and 30 shots.
