I played around with your image a bit, too. Rather than just post my results, I thought I'd send you the formula. You can try it on your computer and see if you like it:
-Add levels adjustment layer with the following values:
Input: 3, 1.51, 255
Output: 0, 240
Gets you this:

I think it brings out some really great details you had hiding in there. Let me know what you think.

I have been playing around with light and my homemade studio the past few weeks and these are three that i am most proud of. i would love to know what your honest opinion is of any one of them. thanks a bunch~~Cher

wow that was fast! thanks for the comments. light is my biggest downfall for almost all my entrys. I will continue to plug away at it till its second nature for correct lighting.
