[begin rant] Hey people, guess what? I don't want to change the voting scale, or change the challenge deadlines, or change the rules, or change how comments are given, received, or interpreted, or change one damn thing about DPC...because you know what? I love it just the way it is!!!!! Thank you Drew, thank you Langdon, and thank you past and current Site Council folks for giving me a place to call home![/end rant]
ok...maybe one tiny little damn thing...can't we all just be happy about what brought us to this site and soaked into our craniums to make us hang around??? ;o)
Man...I feel better already!!!!

PS I understand totally where you're coming from but... it's not as though this site hasn't changed hugely since many of us first joined and most people would probably agree that most changes have been for the better.
Whilst I understand the adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" there's also a lot to be said for progress rather than stagnation.
That said I do agree that it's good just as it is!

It is quite possible that if I were getting 7+ scores and all nice comments, and along with that if all the forum posts were like this one, I would probably leave the site as uninspiring and uninteresting.
It is better this way, with my blood pressure going on a sinewave!
This isn't even a rant! Someone should lock this thread immediately.

Happy is:
I came here for ideas, and saw all the wonderful pictures.
I thought I'd hang around for a few tidbits of adivce,
I stayed for the people.
