In critique of your shot of this geyser,
I will take on the role of advisor,
your sky is quite drabby,
and the foliage shabby,
next time use a good polarizer...

You could probably submit this at OEDILF as a definition for advisor, maybe with L4/L5 modified slightly to

the foliage shabby
so next time use this polarizer.

like I need yet another distraction,
this, for me, is enough satisfaction.
and my wife is now sleeping,
so tonight there's no *bleep*ing
this will just have to do for my action...

We just started on the "ba" words ... it will probably be a couple of months until we get to "bl" so you'd better hold that one in reserve.

Artyste got the best shots in this evening
though David has said nothing of leaving
General's counting words
from us limerick nerds
Cuz he cannot believe what he's seeing.

So you limerick writers are hot,
Y'all come up with your rhymes on the spot...
But you're cutting it close
with your language verbose
Just shut up and go vote on my shot!

I agree with what laurie has said
but there's still one main thing that I dread
that the voters will see
that my shot is a 3
I think limericks are better instead.

Laurie Black thinks it's less than terrific
That we're here writing limericks prolific
Very soon she will see
As we vote her a three
That next time she should be more specific!

"Writing" and "voting" are two different things;
one is a chore, and the other's like wings.
But which of the two
is better for you?
The best of both worlds: a voter that sings!

Triangle voters see three in each shot
Four-oh-seven's a helluva lot
My three sides they should see
A blue ribbon earned by my vacation spot.

An Aussie in Japan called Pug
Posted some galleries at Smugmug
His profile's updated -
Click the link there as stated.
That's it for Pug's Smugmug plug.

I got prompted from a humor admirer
Who asked for the new DPC Enquirer
So I hired someone
To help with the fun
But she never showed up so I fired her!

...and now I'm even more tireder. ;-)

While some say I should just let it go,
I still think that each member should know
Of these verses we write,
They should all see the light!
We can then use a low ISO.

Based upon firm resolution
I resolved to remain in exclusion
From this thread and its folly
But I now post, most wholly
With satisfaction in my conclusion

There once was a man, that had a life
He Googled a search, not once, but twice
When he clicked on the link
And did it without a blink
DPC sucked up, what remained of his life

Sorry to presume, but in the tradition of bawdy limericks (let's put the "mature" tag here) I feel the last line could be:

DPC sucked him dry and left none for his wife.

Sorry...

Hey if Chris de Burgh can rhyme romance and dance there's NO stopping ME!

(CLUE: In Southern England at least, these two words DO NOT rhyme!)

Naughty Ken Priest made me pee my pants
Let's relegate his thread to Rants
Pantless Girls Unite!
We Can Win This Fight!
Throw our knickers in the air and dance!

Getting women naked wasn't my plan
And some may consider a ban
If I strip inhibitions from girls
Though I can't change the world
Hey, I do what I can!

No - just didn't want to be known as yet another wetspot...

This site's like a lake full of pee
since Ken posted his rag up with glee;
babes without pants
don't merit a glance,
but when pissing they're something to see!

(sorry folks...)
