this is only my 4th entry as well, and i unfortunately, have not done as well as you have (ever yet). :-) however, i'm here because i thought it is/was a place to experiment and learn. i sincerely hope that is the case. i'm learning from the comments people give (i think), and although i've had a few local exhibits of my photography, i'm by no means a commercial professional. congratulations on your continued improvement of scores. i hope that i can mimic your success.
my first entry was abysmal - even i think it was crap and don't know why i entered it other than it was my first challenge and i thought - oh crap! i've gotta get something entered - that was obviously not the right approach - lol.
since i THINK i've improved some. anyway, i wanted to thank you for your encouraging comments (to me) and to wish you continued success (and to perhaps let you know that you're not the only one out there who's feeling a little intimidated at times). :-)

Mine got DQed it was the "voting, commenting". I thought it was OK but its not. "Literal representations of existing artworks, including your own, are not permitted."
Never mind, I will go and take some more photos |

I was at 6.09 up until 10 minutes ago. I think I have a strong entry and it should climb up slowly over time.
Finished voting already and left a good deal of comments...more than usual anyway, since this group especially earned that respect.

I'm down to the mid 5's. I submitted my entry 5 seconds before the voting deadline - had been out of town this week and came home 15 minutes 'til midnight. Quickly edited, titled and submitted in the nick of time.
After seeing the comments, I realize that I needed to give my entry a better title, one more descriptive to get the context of the image clarified. |

I´m absolutely thrilled about the comments :) the score is ok as well but so close to 6.000 and this is a challenge where I have made comments on nearly all of the entries, they are very good most of them...

My score has been steadily around here(5.9436)occasionally peaking at 5.988888888888 but I'm launching a major comeback within the last few hours of voting, when I will tip over the 6 mark, in class fashion.

I have noticed three ones in a row. (Either that, or I've got three 2's and three other voters bumped me down by a point).
I wasn't doing exceptionally well, but I dropped from ~4.86 to ~4.78 in three votes...
TROLLS!!! Grab the torches and pitchforks!

how can you expect NOT to win with that score??? you have the highest score mentioned..

I was going to write about the drop in score as well. Trolls - where are you? My score starting to steadily go back to where it was though. I went down two points in 24 hours which seemed like a steep drop. It's now climbing slowly but surely back to where it was for the first few days.
I find scoring goes up a bit just before the challenge is over so i have my fingers crossed. Good luck everyone! |

I was between 5.91 and 6.01 something,(the Hobbit vote)from the start but woke up to the 5.8.
