Well, there seems to be enough interest for there to possibly be a GTG, which is enough to make me start looking at specific flights & hotels :o) I'll probably do the DC Cherry Blossom GTG for the weekend of the 9th/10th, then midweek switch to NYC and then meet up with you lot at some point over the weekend of the 16th/17th...

Anyone wanna start up an official GTG thread so that we (well, you lot anyway) can start getting the details sorted out?

This is right off of Rector street. In the Financial Center. It kind of reminded me of old Greek ruins.

Maybe start around the Boat Basin at The World Financial Center and swing around The Battery or directly across to the Seaport/BrkBr. ???

Lot's of water, boats, parks, graveyards, The Woolworth Building, City Hall, The Statue of Liberty, The Staten ITALY Ferry....plenty of old and new. All nicely contained. AND most important...Beers(or tea) at one of the Pubs by South Street(The Paris Commune???)

Having said that, I'm game for almost anywhere. Again...I'm easy.

SOUNDS LIKE HEAVEN!!!! Sign me up. But it needs to be the end of April, or I can't go... :(

ok - just checked my calendar. I have friends in from Canada that I haven't seen in 7 years - they leave on the 17th, early, so I can do the city on the Sunday (the 17th) but not the 16th. Does anyone prefer Saturday over Sunday, or does it not matter? Because I missed the trip to the Bronx Zoo last October, and I don't want to miss another GTG....anybody?

I live in Brooklyn and work downtown by stock exchange.

So I'm in almost anytime.

So where does everyone want to meet up? how about ESPN Zone in Times Square? sounds good??. Start the day off with some Coffee and breakfast, or maybe meet up in the afternoon , have a few ales and proceed to shooting. I worked in the Financial ctr. for 2 years and I was an EMT for 3 years drove all over the city, and I know every nook and cranny. I know every borough in and out except for the BRonx.

OK, let's keep the GTG stuff in this thread that CeeDeez kindly started, and just discuss the photos here.

Oh, I forgot to say, the photos in this thread are great and make me really wanna visit now! :o)
