It's snowing in DC today. I decided for fun to take the furrballs out for a walk in the snow. This is only their second time out in snow. I was highly amused. The kids not so much. :)

Tico almost works for light on white had she been willing to look up at me.

cute! :) They are troopers to not claw your eyes out for making them both wet and COLD (high on the list of kitty sins). |

Plus they are wearing leashes - those cats must have the patience of Mother Theresa. |

Cool pics, Tico is already in my Fav's as a thief so it's good to see he doesn't get it all his own way ;-)

She's a trip. She is the dominant cat eventhough her brother out weighs her by about 7 pounds. She normally likes going out. Today she was not a happy cat. I got a bang out of it though. :)

It's fun to play snowball on one of their first outings into the snow. Just make a snowball and throw it a few feet away. They run for it but can't quite find it in all the other snow. I've had my friend's cat jump snowbanks looking for the snowball. My cats don't go out at all, so I've never got to play this with them. |

How precious! I never had a cat that would walk on a leash. Tico, aka She That Must Be Obeyed, shows her disapproval of your little walk idea in her expressions!!! She's such a diva! Nimitz looks much more fond of the idea of snow. LOL
Great shots!!!!

You have to start them on a harness slowly. These guys have been doing this since they were about 14 weeks old. They've learned that harness means out. :)
It's great. We take walks 3-4 times a week. It's really fun to see the world through their eyes. I have to pay a lot of attention to what's going on when we go out. I've gone chasing squirrels and various flying insects. I've sat for 20 minutes watching birds. It's actually pretty cool. :)
