Its manufacturer sponsored, so I'm sure you'll be hit with sales pitches but hey, its free! :)

Amanda and I signed up for the Denver seminar. We just used "other" for the sponsor information. Anyone for the Colorado area interested in going? We'd love to meet up with you there.

The sponsors thing doesn't matter, I think. I put Art Leather. I think anyone can attend!

Yes, I couldn't believe there's one in Albany, so I signed up. But I hope there's something educational and not a sales pitch only.

And I hope they serve drinks ;)

By the way, I was referred by "Other"

I got reply from them...it is open to professional and amateur alike and is sponsored by the people listed. They told me to just fill it out and pick someone as a sponsor so I picked CANON of course! Got my printable ticket and I am schedule to attend in Columbia SC in May 2005. I cant wait....

Anybody gone to this yet? Mine is supposed to be this Sunday but I've already got a pretty full weekend- I don't want to carve out time especially for the seminar if it's actually just a big advertisement...

Just curious -

Has anyone gone to one of these yet? I want to go but the nearest one is going to be a bit hard for me to get to - wondering if it would be worth the effort? I have been wanting to go to some type of photography event and am hoping this is a good one.

thanks

I'm signed up for Syracuse this Tuesday. We're waiting to hear if the "live on stage" means live on stage in Syracuse or via videoconferencing from another city like I've heard it is. I'm probably not going, either way.

We're going to Syracuse on Tuesday as well. :) If you change your mind, let us know and we'll try and at least meetup or somethin.

I'm set to go the 13th in Albany. But given my schedule is pretty busy, as many of your's are, I'd appreciate it if someone who has attended would please post your experiences and let us know whether you found it worth the time.

Also: Anyone else scheduled to go to the Albany one?

Oops, a little late for the Seattle show. Maybe next time.

I'll do that. I want to go but it's so late. It's a good 1.5-1.75 hours from here. I wouldn't mind if it was a weekend. I'm taking a marketing class tomorrow night and leaving for NYC on Friday. If it wasn't such a busy week, I would go. I still may change my mind at the last minute. I'll see what my friends decide to do.

So--has anyone gone yet? Is it worthwhile?

Please let me know! I'm scheduled to go tonight in Albany.

Anyone else planning to go to the Albany one tonight?

Sorry no one has reported back yet, but would you let us know how it goes tonight, assuming you go? I am supposed to meet several friends at the one in Richmond down the road a ways.

Thanks!

I'm posting my review later today - but go. Just leave at the break - he only talks about printing and exporting after that. :)
