Anyone have any feedback on Fred Mirandas Velva Vision Plugin?

I like it - saves me fiddling around in the channel mixer to boost saturation, and theres some neat contrast and dynamic range options too.

I certainly used it on this shot:

and probably on my 2 previous entries too!

Have you noticed any sort of degradation to the image? I̢۪m just curious because I̢۪m considering purchasing it.

Not that I've noticed, though as with any effect there will be issues if you push it too far. I have to admit that I don't have the same eye for image quality as someone like Gordon, but I've never used it beyond 20% intensity and I'm very happy with the results.

Where do I find the plugin? Will it work on the PC?

Velvia/Provia action by Paul Bleicher
Works well. Default blend mode in Opacity ends up at 70% which is most often a bit too much for my taste, but slide it down to about 50% and find the result fairly decent.
