That have been floating around recently, I'd just like to say that this site is a blast... so much so that I bit the bullet and joined up today (much to the chargrin of my girlfriend who unbeknownst to me was going to buy me membership for christmas). Sure the site is not perfect, and there's some narrow minded people here, but on the whole it's a brilliant community, and I've found nothing else online that comes close to matching this.
So having joined I guess I'd better get my act together and enter some more challenges - it really is a good way of improving (and seeing as I only got interested in this photography thing in about february, I've clearly got some more learning to do).
Ok enough ass-kissing, now I have to go find another thread to make trouble in before I get labelled a goody-two-shoes ;).
PS - I put a few pics in my portfolio, so if anyone has anything to say about those feel free...

I like your stuff very absract. Keep it up, this site can be loads of fun if you don't let others bring you down. Hope you enjoy it.

Welcome to the "family"; I'm sure you wil find that it resembles a real family in many ways, both the good and the bad. I always find that the good far outweighs the bad though.

No, no, no, no, NO!
Entering challenges is bad for your health, social life, self esteem and sleep pattern. The distress caused by a sliding score is reason enough to donate your entry fee to charity instead. |

haha I just read mav's tread about a scam, popped over here and thought coolhar said, "welcome aboard scam".
You have a very geometric eye there Sam. I will enjoy looking at more of your work. You might want to look at some of Kylie's pictures. She has that kind of ability also. Here's her profile page. |
