by yankoComment: beautiful portrait. I'd be tempted to remove the overlay from her skin and just leave it on the background but thats just me |

Normby Eagle40Fox2Comment: Hey Chris your shot is good; I only have two comments, 1) the crop is too central for my taste, 2) I'm not keen on that much redness left in his face.
Here are a couple of very quick variations on your portrait :)

i'm not speakin' to her and she's not speakin' to meby sadiebirdComment: my choice is the B&W but I just like B&W lol. From a purely personal point of view I'd remove the picture and lights as I think they detract from the main subject.
I've been a bit heavy handed in this edit but I was thinking something like this

Sweetby gsalComment: I just love the feel of your B&W images please let us in on your processing steps.
Normally I'd say to clone out that stray hair but in this case I think it's quite nice. Great crop as well |

Day Sixby LMA128Comment: classic candid portrait, reminds me of childhood which means you evoked an emotion so your work here is done :) |

For the Troopsby LVicariComment: lol fantastic I'm going to have to try this; did you use a starburst filter or did it just work out that way, or better still did you simply put that light in using "the shop"
I love the whole setup, great work as always Leo |

Natchristmas09-7web.jpgby gwe21Comment: whilst I like the setup and am a fan of highkey I'm not sure I like what you've done to her face. It seems a little too soft even by my standards making her look a bit like a doll, I'd prefer to see a little colour and some subtle shadows I think but thats just me.
You seem to have quite a bit of noise in the background as well |
