I think you have some good starting material but I think it needs to be spiffed up a bit. At the very least I would a) do some selective sharpening on the eyes and b) crop it a bit tighter. The Lutchenko edits are nice in that they bring out the details much better. |

i wouldnt say too plain, i might have dodged the eyes and ran a 3-pass of usm, what do they call that technique?
well i cant remember or find it but ill tell you how i do it if you pm me |

the crop is a little tight. i think this guy could look awesome with a real dave hill style treatment. |

Hey Chris your shot is good; I only have two comments, 1) the crop is too central for my taste, 2) I'm not keen on that much redness left in his face.
