Inflamedby ace flymanComment: I like this one a lot. The red tones in the face work wonderfully with the warm tones of the fire. Not sure about the crop though. Seems just a touch awkward...

jump higherby benlenzComment: I don't get the illusion part of this, but it is an interesting shot! Ya do have some color banding in the sky probably from the resizing and a touch of haloing around the dark outlines of the models. This is probably caused from sharpening. Do you shoot Jpeg or Raw?

Illuminate by deapeeComment: Wow, this one I really like! I wanna see what the set up was. Love the bluish tonality, but ya got some color banding around the bottome and sides. Perhaps from resizing...
Good job

The Jugglerby MPRPROComment: You have an interesting take on the challenge and some awesome bokeh! The scene in the ball though has too much going on and doesn't hold my attention. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be seeing...

Anything for a Cookieby kenskidComment: Too small and too much going on. I almost didn't even see the little girl diving into the box. You would have had a great shot if ya cleared away all but the cookie box in question on both shelves and had only the top shelf at the top of frame, the girl going into a much bigger box and nothing else. Remember simpler is almost always better. Especially true in set up shots!

Mass Appealby aznymComment: It's a striking image but I don't see an illusion... It almosts violates the rules though as it's almost entirely a photograph of another piece of work.

Heavy Metalby esdarbyComment: Whenever I see a set up shot like this, I immediately look for the flaws. After all with a shot like this you have total controll over all elements. The first thing I notice here is that your lighting causes a reflection on the scales glass that dulls out the numbers. Move things around a bit till the relection is gone and you got one hell of a shot. I would also have put the headphone cord all on the scale's pad as it looks awkward and conflicts with the scales 'reading' the way ya got it here...

Hydrophobiaby ralphComment: A nice illusion. I wanna know how it's done. However, it's not too interesting of a shot overall. I don't have any ideas though how to make it have more pop...

Box of Toothpicksby severinComment: I really like this a lot! You put a lot of effort into the set up for it. Only thing I would change would be to make absolutely sure your toothpicks are perfect and maybe clone out the little spots in your background (two to the right of the frame catch my eye right away!) since it's a members challenge...

SAY WHEN!by NaldComment: Besides making my stomach twinge, this shot needs a bit of work. First off, your lighting is a bit unimaginative. Ya need some fill light coming from frame left. Also the drop cloth in the back is a little wrinkled if ya didn't notice. ;-) Your colors are what bother me the most though. They are very dull. Maybe play with the levels a little more to pull the color out of the image...
