Sent with Love, from Aboveby roadrunnerComment: How did he through the child up in the air when he has no arms? :-P Cute shot bot it's kinda dark and you ahave some haloing and color banding issues. The haloing is probably form oversharpening. The color banding may be from how you resized the shot...

the uninspired DPCer...by aplomb76Comment: Wow, this is really kinda dark. In order to make B/W really work you need a wide tonal range which is lacking in this shot. It also looks like you used the on camera flash. This will always produce harsh shadows that are usually unatractive especially when the subject is close to the background as in this case. Move the subject away from the background and use other lighting (I never use the on camera flash...) and this would work better!

Humpty Dumpty and the Floating Eggby Pug-HComment: Corny but very well executed! There are a couple of things I always look for in set up shots like this. Interesting lighting, focus and simplicity! You got all three. Great job of defining the egg against a white background without blowing anything out!

Caughtby torfisComment: I guess I'm dense cause I don't get it and the shot doesn't do anything for me. Please don't take it personal, it's just MHO!

1st Birthdayby ArtanComment: Wow, I really thought this was kinda cool of an idea that needed some work till I scrolled down and saw the cake. It made the title make sense though... Lose the cake, play around with the lighting and maybe try a polarizing filter to take away some of the reflections on the bulb and this could be a winner!

The Masksby idnicComment: Very nicely executed! However I think I woulda picked another color than red for the right hand face. It's very hard to get good detail in certain shades of red to pop out. You got great depth in the blue face, but the red face looks flat...
