Location: Koi pond in our house.
Date: Aug 1, 2005
Aperture: f14
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1.3 sec
Date Uploaded: Aug 1, 2005

 Took lots (and I mean lots!) of koi/goldfish photos during feeding time in our fishpond at home. Used different slow shutter speeds. Used polarizer to avoid reflection. Finally got this pattern of a sea monster's face. I thought a perfect illusion of a Chinese Dragon.

Use dodge tool to enhance illusion of eyes. Saturate and cropped. That's all. ENjoy!

The secret is not in post-editing but in waiting for that "face" to appear.

shots like this one can't be easily repeated even in a studio setting. you're right in saying it could be a one-in-a-million shot. Need a zillion amount of patience for this one. i attempted something really unique... tho creepy. thanks for all your votes and encouraging comments. Just wondering what I did wrong to get 1's and 2's.

The flow of the fishes have created an interesting outcome. Perhaps this is their way of scaring of fishermen. Man's brain might be processing to fast to see what they mean. :)

Was this a scarf? Or taken by accident? Great shot! I would increase the contrast a bit and down grade the brightness :) IMO

Took me a while to get this one, but now I see the goldfish. Very cool - I assume a long exposure to achieve this effect? Neat how it looks like a face. Good job.

First Impression:Man this is nice! I just love it. My favourite so far! Makes me see Chinese Dragons.
